An international producer of telematic goods. It was founded in 1985. The company develops and manufactures a wide range of innovative solutions for transportation, telematics, driver and passenger safety, diagnostics, and vehicle safety. It has more than 1 million implementations, presence in 65+ countries.
The problem faced by the client
Before contacting InformUnity, the company was using a self-written CRM system. However, during operation, a critical vulnerability was revealed: a potential data leak through sales managers.
This created serious risks:

leakage of commercial offers and terms of deals;

The aims of the implementation
The InformUnity team was tasked with the following:
1. Organize a secure migration of data to the Bitrix24 CRM system.
2. Customize the CRM to fit the company's unique business processes.
3. Integrate third-party applications to expand the system's functionality
Solution: step-by-step implementation
1. Data migration
We transferred data from the old system using Excel sheets. We used our unique Import from Excel application. During this stage, the following data was uploaded:

customer contacts;

information about partner companies;
-
product catalog;
-
transactions history.

2. Setting up CRM
We have carried out a comprehensive configuration of Bitrix24, adapting it to the specifics of the client's business.:

Creating and configuring templates:
-
the template of the waybill (packing list) for registration of delivery of goods (with automatic creation of documents);
-
invoice template;
-
A CRM form with fields: company name, first name, last name, phone number, e‑mail, website address, comment (a deal is automatically created based on it).

Automation of routine processes:

automatic naming of an email;
-
automatic document numbering;
-
setting up the location of key fields (delivery address, recipient) in the invoice and proforma templates.

Access management:
-
configure access rights for different user roles.

Optimization of sales pipelines:

setting up a transaction funnel to visualize sales stages and control conversions.
3. Integration with 3rd-party systems
To expand the CRM functionality, we have enabled and configured the following services:

PayPal — for accepting online payments;

DocuSign — for electronic document signing (an application from the Bitrix24 Market).
4. Taking regional specifics into account
Given that the company's office is located in Israel, it is important that the system supports writing from right to left (Hebrew). This ensured a comfortable use of the system for local staff.
